We spent five days and four nights at NIYS as a family, and it had what we needed: a quiet neighborhood, enough facilities, and Shibuya and Shinjuku just 5-15 minutes away. The team was reachable around the clock, which made it easy to ask how to keep the room comfortable and tidy. I hope they keep up this service. I forgot to review the stay on Airbnb, so I’m leaving my thoughts here on Google.
We stayed nearly a month, but the room was smaller than the photos suggested and we weren’t happy with the experience. When we wanted to leave early, the host refused to refund any of the rent. Communication with the host was extremely difficult. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment.
There’s no security at all. The room is tiny, and the low ceiling made it feel like living in a box. The location was also hard to find on the map. Uber kept getting sent to the other side of the street.
The room had everything I could ask for, plus a few extras. The owner was helpful and gave clear instructions, so getting settled was easy. It was just as described and definitely worth staying in for a night or two.
It’s a three-minute walk from meguro station, and the Superhosts were very accommodating. Finding the entrance was a bit tricky because parked cars hid it in the driveway.
