OYO KAME-CiTi Ryokan Kameido

The hotel's location in the middle of the city put major attractions and shopping centers close by, making it convenient for both business and leisure. The stay felt smooth from booking through checkout. At check-in, the friendly and efficient front desk staff quickly got me settled and shared a detailed map of the hotel and area, plus useful sightseeing tips. I also liked the lobby's warm, sophisticated decor. Our room was bright and spacious, with an elegant, comfortable design. The bed made for a restful night's sleep, and the bathroom had high-end fixtures and a range of premium toiletries. The hotel's food was spectacular. This hotel exceeded my expectations, and I'd happily return on my next trip to the city. I recommend it to anyone looking for a five-star stay.

It was quiet day and night, which made the tucked-away location a good place to recharge after long days of touring. We had a cozy room with strong shower pressure and a nice bathtub, and fresh towels arrived every day. The caretaker was friendly and accommodating, and spoke Japanese, Chinese, and English, so communicating was easy. I'm not sure if she speaks other languages too. She also shared some food recommendations around Kameido. The area felt safe, even when we walked back late, and it was easy to get a taxi to the hotel. For food, Kameido Clock has plenty of ready-to-eat choices when you're tired, and there are lots of Uber Eats options. Both Kameido Clock and Kameido train station are within walking distance. The nearby Yellow Line also makes transfers to other lines really convenient. We had a nice, comfortable stay at Kyo-wa Hotel.

The place is new and clean, but I've stayed here twice and was assigned staff room 101 both times. There was no privacy, and other guests kept knocking on the door.

The location made getting around easy, and the room was spotless. I only stayed one night, but the place was cleaner and better kept inside than I expected from the exterior. The staff were friendly and helpful too. I’d recommend it for a convenient, clean stay.
