Getting the big suitcase to the elevator was a bit awkward because the ground-floor elevator is at the back of the hotel, tucked away. We stayed for two days in a twin room, but the bed was quite large and made the room feel cramped. On the plus side, the bathroom was clean, well equipped, and nice. We had breakfast both mornings. It tasted good, but the menu was the same each day. I wish they’d changed it up for a bit more variety.

The staff were courteous, and the room was cleaned daily. Train access, including the JR Yamanote Line, is good, with convenience stores nearby. For the price, the rooms are small and can feel claustrophobic. It’s okay for one person, but cramped for two.

The hotel was quiet, in a good spot with plenty of entertainment nearby or just a train ride away, and it met my needs for a great Tokyo trip. It’s a two-minute walk from the station, with lots of shops and restaurants around and a 7-11 across the street. There’s a Royal Host connected to the hotel where I had a nice breakfast. My room was a bit dusty, but I had no other issues. It was smaller than a hotel room in the US, so do a little research beforehand if that’s what you’re used to. The bathtub was deep, and soaking after a full day on my feet felt great. The hotel uses central heating and cooling. Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast is available for a fee, with a good variety. On the 2nd-floor lobby, there are amenities like washcloths, razors, and q-tips to take if you need them. The 4th floor has washers and dryers, an ice machine, and a microwave. You can check the washer and dryer status on the TV in your room. The best feature for me was the luggage delivery service through Airporter. There’s a QR code by the elevators on the 2nd floor, and you can switch the service to English. It really is same-day delivery. I sent my luggage from the hotel to Haneda Airport before my flight, so I could do more sightseeing. The luggage needs to be taken to the front desk by 9AM on pickup day. You can also send it from one hotel to another.

I always like this neighborhood and keep choosing it. The hotel is very near Otsuka Station, and the selection of amenities by the lobby has what you need. The room is comfortable and clean, and I think its size is standard for Japan.

Thai gave me a complimentary room voucher that included breakfast. I can’t eat beef, though, and the only main dish at breakfast was curry with wakyu, so I couldn’t eat it.
