The free breakfast buffet was decent, and the service was nice. Check-out is at 10am. Ryogoku station is right across the way, which makes this handy for business travelers or tourists looking to avoid pricey hotels in the best-known areas when they mainly need somewhere to sleep. There are several restaurants nearby, including US chains like MCD. It's apparently close to the sumo arena, and there's a Chanko restaurant next door, serving the hotpot of proteins and vegetables in dashi broth associated with sumo wrestlers. The room is tiny, as is typical for a business hotel. The bathroom is awkward if you're tall, and you may need to leave the door open. There's barely room to bathe or stretch enough to reach things. If you know someone local with rakuten, the price is definitely better, so make friends! LOL

The workers were nice and calm, but the room quality was pretty low. Breakfast didn't offer much variety. It's only a minute from the train station, though the trains are loud enough to hear clearly from the rooms.

It's a good business hotel, easy to find and very close to the station, so I'd try booking here again. The room was neat and clean. It shows a bit of wear, but nothing too bad. It was small, which is what you'd expect for this kind of hotel.

The hotel is a little old, but I felt I got my money's worth. The rooms are on the small side, though comfortable to sleep in. A train station, grocery store and McDonald's are all nearby, which is really convenient.
