Section L Ueno-Hirokoji

We had a week-long stay and would definitely choose this hotel again for a future Tokyo trip, especially with kids. The room felt clean and new, with a small kitchen and washer/dryer. Shopping, food, and stations were close, and Akihabara was within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This was my second time at Section L Ueno-Hirokoji, and returning felt almost like coming home. The hotel has a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere where it’s easy to unwind after a long day in Tokyo. Everyone on staff was lovely, kind, friendly, and ready to help, which made the stay feel personal. Getting around was easy from here. Keisei Ueno Station is very close, making trips to and from Narita Airport convenient. The Yamanote Line, Chiyoda Line, and Ginza Line are each about a five-minute walk away. Section L Ueno-Hirokoji is a fantastic Tokyo stay, and I’d choose it again on my next visit.

Imelda, Edzel, Margarita, and a few other employees whose names we didn’t catch made our stay at Section L really enjoyable. They were super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Our group of four had plenty of room, and it was great having a laundry machine so we could do laundry whenever. Several train stations nearby made it quick and easy to get around Tokyo, and Ameyoko street was just a few minutes’ walk for shopping and food. We had such a good time that we booked this hotel again for our last few days in Tokyo. I’d book it again next time too!

The rooms had a good amount of space and the basic things you need. Staff were really kind and helpful, and there are lots of good businesses nearby. It’s a little away from the busiest area, but still well connected, with a train station right next door. A very nice hotel to stay at.
