Serorin Light Hotel Tokyo

The room was large and clean, with a kitchen, Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, space for luggage, and even a balcony. It was on a quiet street, with shops nearby. The location gets 7/10, but the metro is close enough. There was no breakfast, and I didn't interact with the staff, so I can't comment on them. It had everything I wanted: a comfortable night's sleep, room to spread out, and a metro nearby. I'd stay again and recommend it for those reasons. 17-21 Apr 2025.

The subway stations are just around the corner, and the staff were really friendly. For the price, this was outstanding: a decently sized room with a balcony and a pentry. Highly recommend if you're after a cheaper option.

The small kitchen in the room was great, and the room felt fairly spacious compared with the usual Tokyo rooms. There's free laundry downstairs. It's in a peaceful area near transportation, and overall it was a great place to stay. It seems they may have sorted out the issues mentioned in earlier reviews.

We arrived on 18/9 during a really hot, humid afternoon. The woman at the front desk, who wore glasses, was quite tall and spoke Chinese, didn't welcome us or even say hi. I know this isn't the usual kind of hotel, but still. When we left on 25/9, it was the same person. She was speaking loudly on the phone, which was surprising to hear in Japan. My husband and I smiled and said goodbye, but she didn't nod or acknowledge that we were leaving. A man beside her didn't seem to care either. The room was spacious by Japan accommodation standards, which is why we picked the place. But my husband found a pacifier under his bed while picking up some of our coins, and there were nail clippings on my side of the floor that definitely weren't mine. The room smelled stale and sour. We kept wondering if it was us or the furniture, but the smell came from the bed and carpet. We took care of our own garbage disposal and didn't mind. When we asked that same front desk woman where to go, she just pointed and said, "down there." I appreciated the gesture since I don't understand much Mandarin. We didn't complain during our stay. Why? There was nobody there whenever we went out.
