Somerset Ginza East was clean, organized, and an easy place to relax without hassle. The facilities felt modern and were well looked after, and the staff were consistently friendly and ready to help. It’s also well placed for public transport, shopping, and some of Tokyo’s best attractions. I had a wonderful, very comfortable stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.
The staff were very accommodating and helpful, and even gave me warm birthday wishes. I really enjoyed staying at Somerset Ginza East. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and convenience stores, and the hotel is close to the Hibiya line, with Ginza proper just a short walk away.
The facilities are somewhat dated, though still well equipped, and the service is fine. But the soundproofing is poor, and the other guests can vary a lot in quality. I spent a month here, often dealing with long, repeated disruptions: music from neighboring rooms, footsteps overhead, banging, and furniture being moved. Reporting it to the front desk didn’t seem to help much. I can hardly call the stay enjoyable.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They kindly extended my time and let me freshen up before my flight, which left just after midnight. I’m really grateful to them.
For a longer stay in Tokyo, this is a great place. The rooms are spacious for the city and still have a kitchen. The environment was clean, and the atmosphere friendly. There’s 24/7 coffee in the lobby, and the serviced apartments have a 24/7 concierge who are welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Tsukiji Market is just a few steps away, and Ginza and the shopping centres are close too. Some great sushi and Kobe beef restaurants are less than a two-minute walk away. I highly recommend Somerset Ginza.
