I had to cancel my October 13 reservation because the typhoon hit Kanto and caused deaths. Trains, flights, and highways were all shut, so getting to Tokyo wasn’t possible. Even so, they charged the full accommodation cost plus a cancellation fee, saying it was compensation for the inconvenience. I had no real choice but to cancel, so I don’t understand what inconvenience they meant. I’m taking the trip next month after all, but I’ll book somewhere else.

Everything was great, apart from the fact that it’s in a satellite city.

The rooms were roomy, the host was friendly, and getting around was convenient.
