The hotel is about a 14-minute walk from the station, and walking back late at night might feel unsafe. There aren't many restaurants nearby, just one Family Mart about five minutes away. We also rarely saw anyone serving at the counter, which didn't feel safe. The bathroom was extremely small, and the room was very dirty, with a strong sewer smell and dust everywhere.

The tatame mat was rock hard, so I barely slept. There wasn't a lobby to wait in when I arrived early, and the receptionist could barely speak English. This was my first and last stay there.

The two nearest stations are both a 10-15 minute walk away. That's manageable, but awkward with luggage. We were also told the tap water in the toilet wasn't drinkable, so we had to buy water at the nearby Family Mart. Our room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke even though it was non-smoking, and the beds were so hard my hips hurt when I tried to sleep on my side. The bathroom smell was much worse: pungent and persistent. It made it hard to use the room, and airing it out only helped a little. It badly needs ventilation. At reception, the person seemed confused about our reservation and spent a while searching. We worried the booking had been lost and we'd need to find somewhere else, but eventually he sorted it out and we got the room we'd booked. This was the worst stay of our trip, not worth the price, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

I liked the room we got, and it was ready before check-in, which made things very convenient. They gave us plenty of towels, with fresh ones each day. The staff were nice and helpful despite a bit of a language barrier. The location was good too, and it was fairly easy to walk to the main metro lines. I didn't find anything wrong with the room :)

The neighborhood is quiet, and Tabata station isn’t far away. We booked for three adults and one child, and the receptionist seemed a little confused at first about our 3-year-old, but they let us check in. The room worked well for all of us.
