There was nowhere to hang out, so we were either outside or in bed. I stayed two nights with a friend. The beds were reasonably comfortable, and the showers and bathrooms were clean, but there was no space for luggage. We could barely store our bags before the 5pm check-in, and during the stay had to keep our things in the small hallway or on our beds. There are definitely better hostels in Tokio at this price.

No one came to clean during my stay. Before check-in, I asked if I could leave my luggage, but they said no. When I arrived to check in, nobody was there, and it took ten minutes for them to answer the phone. I had to check myself in using the passcode, probably because of corona. If I was expected to do it alone anyway, I don't see why I couldn't leave my bag at the property.
