Tokyo stay Hut SARI

Traveling with our 11-month-old, we found the room had just enough space without feeling crowded, and it was easy to keep our baby from crawling everywhere. The mattress was on the floor, so we didn’t worry about a fall from the bed, and our baby loved the toys the hosts had left in the room. Breakfast was a fun surprise each day, with different snacks and foods from the mart, plus fresh fruit and yogurt. The house is next to a free zoo and a “bunny store,” which made it easy to get diapers and baby snacks. We could reach Disney World by bus in under an hour and downtown Tokyo by train in under an hour. It was our best stay in Japan and a perfect place with an infant.

If you need to stay in Edogawa ward, I’d recommend this hotel, though keep in mind the nearest Tozai Line station is an 11-minute walk and central Tokyo isn’t especially convenient to reach. It seems to be a renovated private house being used as a hotel, with clean, well-kept rooms and very comfortable bedding. A simple breakfast like a sandwich, yogurt, and banana is included, and the receptionist was friendly and polite. The main drawback is the tiny shower, with no room to change before going in. That can feel awkward with friends, especially since the toilet somehow has more space than the shower.

The bed and bedding were so good that I slept great, and I could set the heat myself in the room. The owners were extremely friendly and brought the included breakfast at the time I asked for. Highly recommend.

Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the AC got nice and cold. The owners were lovely and let us check in early even though we hadn’t given them notice. If we’re back in this area, we’ll stay here again. Highly recommend.
