The room was beautiful, spotless, and smelled fresh. I loved the design, and the cute decorations by the elevator made the place feel welcoming. Getting there was a little confusing, but it was my first time in Japan, and after arriving in heavy rain I was just eager to reach the hotel. I did have two issues. The sink built into the toilet doesn’t have soap, so using it means washing your hands without soap unless you go out to the other sink. Also, the elevator doors closed so fast I nearly got caught in them, and it left me pretty shaken. Besides those things, it was amazing, and I’d definitely recommend it.

It’s a pretty good location, and being beside a school meant hearing kids playing outside, which was honestly cute. The place itself was nice, but cold in winter, especially the bath since the heating doesn’t reach it. Some parts of the building seemed a bit worn, though I’m not sure if that’s typical in Japan. The elevator was a big help, because the stairway to the units had junk you had to step around. We booked through Airbnb, but our names weren’t registered on the check-in device at the entrance.
