The owner was friendly and communicative, the apartment was clean, and both the WiFi and hot water worked. The price was good, and the nearby station was quick to reach. I stayed for a week in May with my partner. The apartment was a little cramped, as many places in Tokyo are, but that was fine. Getting in means climbing two floors of stairs. The bathroom also took a while to dry out, so after a couple of showers it stayed wet.

There was no elevator, the room was dirty and the service was poor. The owner didn't reply to our message and seemed not to care. When we checked in, two slippers had already been used. We emailed about it, but got no reply until we left four days later. As other people have said, avoid this hotel if you can.

More than three months after I left, I still haven't received my deposit. Now they want to replace the original furniture with more expensive items and invoice me for the full cost. Very poor customer service, and the practice feels scammy. The original review cuts off after “i.e. from,” so it doesn't specify further details.

Don't be taken in by the nice act. They oversell the place to get you to sign a contract you'll regret, one that makes it seem like you owe them a favor for letting you stay. They take advantage of you. Stay away from the company renting this place.
