The hotel seems old, and the room had a bit of a damp carpet smell. Still, it was okay overall for the cheap price. The location is good, near both a train station and a metro station, and the room size works well for a single room.

If you’re watching your budget for a few days in Tokyo, this is a decent option. I stayed in 2003 and 2004. The hotel is near the metro and Ueno park, and the Skyliner stops at Ueno station, which is handy when arriving from Narita. The pillows felt like they were filled with something hard, so they weren’t comfortable. The TV did have free adult channels, though the picture was pixelated.
For an affordable stay in Tokyo, this quaint little business hotel has what you need. The staff are really friendly, and I’d happily stay here again.
The staff were super friendly, and there are lots of places close by for the price. The rooms feel really old and small, though, with wallpaper peeling off almost every wall and very thin walls. Internet was alright if you were near the box, otherwise good luck. It’s kind of meh, reminds me of Mexican hotels, but I felt safe.
A decent budget place to leave your things and get some sleep. Just keep in mind the walls are thin.
