My mum and I were very comfortable here for two nights, thanks to the warm welcome from Miki-san and her husband. Our room had its own shower and toilet, plus a cute private garden with an ocean view. There’s also a shared bath and laundry machine. Some very cute cats live on the property too. We had the BBQ on the first night, with plenty of meat and seafood, and added the traditional Japanese breakfast each morning. A Western breakfast is available too. Everything tasted great. A hire car would be useful since it’s not very close to a main train station, and a car makes exploring Tottori much easier. Thank you, Miki-san. The hospitality was so warm that I’d recommend this place to friends and other visitors to Tottori.

The rooms were clean and just right, and we really enjoyed the delicious BBQ dinner and breakfast. We had a lovely time in Tottori and are grateful again to Miki-san for her wonderful hospitality. We can wholeheartedly recommend this little place. Arigato gozaimasu once again.

The room was spacious and beautiful, with an amazing view of the beach and sea. It’s a wonderful place to rest and take in Japan’s lovely coast and nature. The kindest lady host looked after us and was ready to help with anything. The food, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, was the best. There’s also good transport for visiting Tottori’s sand dunes. It felt like a true gem and a lovely experience of Japanese kindness and hospitality. Couldn’t recommend it more!

We checked in on 28 Feb 2025 and had a comfortable stay at Pension Le Passage for good value. The room was spacious, with a lovely sea view that made mornings special. There were enough heaters for the cold nights, which I really appreciated. Koyamaike Park, Tottori Karo Crab Aquarium, and the Tottori Sand Dunes are conveniently nearby. Access by public transport may be difficult, but driving worked well for me, and free parking is available. The way in can be tricky, so read the owners’ directions carefully. Slow down as you approach the gas station, which is the landmark for your turn. The road to the hotel is single lane, so watch for traffic and avoid braking suddenly. I’d recommend it to drivers looking for a scenic, comfortable, budget-friendly stay.

We had a really lovely stay at Pension Le Passage. The apartment was comfortable, with a spacious living room where we could watch the sea and sunset. On Friday night we ate at the pension restaurant, where the BBQ had delicious meat, fish, vegetables, and yakisoba. Mimi-san, the manager, was very friendly and kind. She took us to the station for our trip to Tokyo and packed us some very good sandwiches for the journey. Thank you! We’ll remember our time there as a great experience in Tottori.
