Stay in Toya

We came for a ski and snowboard trip to Rusutsu, and the drive to both Rusutsu and Niseko was easy and close. Even so, the cabin feels tucked into beautiful nature. As you head down the hill to the main road, the lake views are breathtaking. Inside, the loft and the impressive wood-burning stove made winter feel extra cozy. The cabin has a warm feel from the moment you arrive, and it’s recently renovated and beautifully looked after. It had what we needed for a relaxed stay, including a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, comfortable beds, and the basic amenities. The hosts were quick to respond, helpful, and on top of things, so everything felt easy. There are also lovely little local cafés nearby. The place is cute, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. We’d happily stay again.

A quiet, private cabin with attentive, responsive hosts. It’s warm and well equipped, with thoughtful details that make it feel like a place to settle in, whether you’re using it as a base for year-round outdoor activities or simply staying put.

The fresh renovation means everything in the house feels new, and it’s a very cozy place in the forest. Quiet nature and birds all around. Starlink internet is really fast, so it works well for remote work. The lake is about a 15-minute walk away, and the ski resorts are 30-50 minutes by car. For the price, the location is excellent. I’ll definitely return.
