This year’s crab trip to Pensione Kitamura was a repeat visit, and I came with my partner, best friend, and dog. We ate what felt like a whole year’s worth of crab and left stuffed and satisfied again. The crab sashimi was plump, sweet, and delicious raw. The crab soup had a great broth, and the grilled crab was fragrant. The steamed crab was fluffy, and we enjoyed the hotpot right to the end. Crab season runs from November to March. You can bring your own drinks, and pets are allowed, including at dinner and breakfast, so it’s a good choice if you have one. Thanks for the meal.

The crab portions were so generous that we couldn’t finish, and we were very pleased. They didn’t push extra servings on us, and we appreciated being able to bring our own drinks. This was our first time here. We used to visit another inn every year because it allowed pets and served crab, but it seems to have closed. We’ll definitely come back next year for another relaxing stay.

We came with our dog and had a standard twin room. The building is old, though the inside has been nicely renovated, and the bath is open 24 hours. Lots of guests apparently bring dogs, but the place is very clean and had no unpleasant smells. Walking trails around the inn were a nice extra. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the "Kuroge Wagyu Steak & Seafood Course": sashimi, miso soup, crab, steamed seafood, Saikyo-yaki (fish grilled after miso marinating), lots of vegetables, and a tender steak to finish. We were very satisfied. Breakfast dessert was homemade yogurt and jam, both incredibly good. Next time, we’d like to visit in winter for crab and snow.

The crab was so tasty that I couldn’t finish it. I was even more impressed when I tried the bath for the first time. I’ll definitely be using the baths from now on. Thank you very much🙇

We had a fun family trip, with beaches and ski resorts among the nearby places to visit. The food was delicious, and being able to stay with our dog made the trip relaxing. The kids were happy too.
