For Toyooka city, this seems like one of the best hotel options. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is available, and getting around is easy since the train station is very close.

A comfortable place at a fair price, and probably my favorite stay in Toyooka. The beds and pillows are the usual firm Japanese style. There’s plenty included, from free laundry and coffee to a manga library and bike rentals. I also liked having the public bath (onsen) after a cold day, and the breakfast buffet was quite good. An outside guest can join breakfast for ¥650. I’d stay here again.

We enjoyed the food and the view of the area from our room. The rooms were great, and the service was accommodating.

The room felt spacious by Japanese standard-room expectations, and breakfast was only 580 yen. Parking at the hotel cost 500 yen as well. We chose this place because accommodation in Hirosaki was quite expensive. Just be aware that nearby shops and restaurants are all closed on Sundays.

If you're visiting the area with a Kansai wide pass, this is a good option. The room was comfortable, breakfast was good, and I enjoyed the big bath.
