Tsubakino Ryokan

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the place is conveniently located in town. Dinner and breakfast were included. After trying everything at dinner on the first night, we told them that most of it wasn’t really our thing and explained our food preferences. They completely adjusted the next night’s meal to suit us, and it was amazing. We ate so much good food that we were completely full, and felt very special and cared for. The beds and pillows were a bit hard for us, though we’re particular about those. Everything else was great. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I had such a peaceful, happy holiday here. We felt safe and content, and the place was a really pleasant surprise that went beyond what we expected. The facilities are elegant, clean, and serene. Staff were respectful, attentive, professional, friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. It’s also extremely convenient for public transportation. We’d definitely return for the hospitality, delicious meals, and onsen, and highly recommend staying here.

We only stayed one night, but the experience was amazing. The food had lots of variety and was delicious, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. The service was impeccable, and we enjoyed the private onsen too. After checkout, we realized we'd left a towel and hat in our room. A staff member ran to our train and returned them just minutes before it left. I was too confused to thank him properly at the time. I’ve never experienced hospitality like that! Thank you very much!

The staff at the hotel next door sent us here after we booked the wrong date there. We had a great experience, with really good food and high-standard service. Highly recommended!
