The station is right beside the hotel, with a shopping mall and Muji across it. There’s also a McDonalds next to the station. The rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny. Breakfast was very average.

Toyotashi is a good place to stay, close to the mall for groceries and near a pub. It’s not as busy as Nagoya centre, which is great.

The location is fantastic, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The facilities were clean, and breakfast was surprisingly good. My main issue was the room size: it was one of the smallest I’ve stayed in, especially with my wife and two small children. I’d suggest it for one person, or two at most. Also, parking costs 1200 yen per day, or 1000 yen for the farther lot.

When I got to Toyota city by train, the hotel was conveniently close to the station. The host kindly explained everything in full. My room was small, but had what I needed, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The price was about what I expected.

After a tiring day at Korankei or elsewhere, it was lovely to soak in a bath with sea salt. The beauty buffet bar was a nice extra, and I really liked the café downstairs, where breakfast was very good. The hotel is right by the train and bus stations, which made things so convenient. Loved my two-night stay!
