The walk from the parking lot to the house is a bit long, and the path can get muddy in rain, so take care. At night it’s pitch black, and with so many insects around, I wouldn’t want to go out. I understand large dogs have to stay outside, but I feel sorry for them out there with all the insects, so personally I wouldn’t recommend it. This was my first stay, and honestly the worst experience I’ve had. People who dislike insects should avoid this place. I’ve stayed in very nice places in similar mountain areas. This room looked nice from outside, but being close to the mountains meant lots of insects, and the room didn’t feel sealed at all. Bugs kept appearing when I hadn’t seen them before, and there were all kinds in every corner. It was disgusting. Even allowing for the mountains and rice fields, this was the worst I’ve experienced, and I was shocked. There was a spider and web by the foot of the bed. I couldn’t believe the room had been cleaned beforehand. My husband cleared it away, but I was too scared to sleep.
