The room was clean and pleasant, and having a vending machine right outside it was handy. It’s close to downtown, and there’s parking for an extra fee. The lot is fairly small, so parking could be tricky when it’s busy. There was also a Korean-speaking staff member.

The service felt cold, more like a country motel with an indifferent owner than a hotel, though this is just my experience and other guests may have a better one. At check-in, they said Wi-Fi was only available in the first-floor lobby. The man showing us around also said most places on Tsushima Island don’t have in-room Wi-Fi, which struck me as odd since nearby Toyo☆in has it in every room. When something isn’t working, I’d expect an apology, but here it felt as if that was simply how things were. The room was cramped, with a small table’s place taken up by a bed. There were three single beds, but only two were for our two people. A sign above the third warned that using it would mean an extra charge. The accommodations were otherwise pretty average. The location in central Izuhara was convenient for walking to Korean restaurants and shopping malls.

I liked the breakfast, which had that home-cooked Japanese taste, and the building and room were clean. The room was quite small, though, and two people who aren’t very close might end up arguing in such a tight space. The staff were friendly overall, but a few were somewhat rude and made me uncomfortable.

Very clean, though it’s a tiny hotel with hardly any room, like other downtown Tokyo hotels. The room just has two single beds, and there’s no water. They provide toothpaste, a toothbrush, shampoo, a razor, and body wash, plus a cup pot, kettle, and refrigerator. The Japanese-style home breakfast was clean and pleasant.
