The location worked well, with the station and shops nearby, and the room was decent. When we missed our early train, the very nice owner drove us to a convenience store for breakfast. That made the long wait for the next train much easier. Thanks, I’d stay here again.

Such a kind old man! After my stay, the owner even drove me all the way to Koide station. He was extremely nice.

I stayed during the May holidays, when there was still some snow in the fields nearby. The building looks old, though it seems to have been renovated and was comfortable enough. Even as a private lodging, it felt surprisingly comfortable: the rooms lock, and the bathroom, toilet, and sink are in separate rooms. There were also chairs and a table. Eating and drinking aren't allowed in the rooms, so there wasn't a refrigerator.

The owner was kind, brought me cold water, and let me check out early. I was there just to sleep the night before my hike, and the room was comfortable, though that may depend on the room. His help made my hike to Uonuma really enjoyable.

The manager is kind, and the bathrooms have been renovated, though the rooms show their age. The shower pressure was a bit weak. Keep in mind this is a private lodging facility when making a reservation.
