Mitsui Garden Hotel Prana Tokyo Bay

We stayed four nights, from 11th April, 2026 to 15th April, 2026, and had a very pleasant visit. The hotel is about 16 kilometres from Haneda Airport and 44 kilometres from Narita Airport. Check-in is at 3:00 pm, with check-out at 12:00 pm, and colourful nightdresses are provided in the rooms. There’s plenty nearby, including Maihama Amphitheater, Toyoke Shrine, Urayasu Comprehensive Park, Urayasu Traffic Park, and Urayasu Sogo Park. The hotel itself sits near Urayasu Sogo Park and is a Tokyo Disney Resort partner, with a complimentary shuttle to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Natural Lawson is inside the hotel. Our room had lots of space and included a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, sitting area, tea and coffee makers, a foot massage machine, shoe drying equipment, and free Wi-Fi. There’s also a Kids Corner in the lobby, a top-floor Ocean View Public Bath, and a buffet restaurant. The PRANA Style buffet serves breakfast from 6.30AM to 10.30AM, with a separate Kids Corner buffet and a good, varied selection. You can take breakfast back to your room, which could be handy for families with small children or anyone who wants a relaxed start. Coffee, tea, and juice can be taken back too.

The DisneySea shuttle was the one good part of our stay. Otherwise, the transport options were very limited, with poor access to trains. After a long trip we arrived exhausted, but got almost no help with the online check-in. We were simply told to do it ourselves, and the faulty system made the process frustrating. Once in the room, we found stains in several places, including the bathroom and toilet. The cleanliness was far below what I’d expect from a 4-star hotel, as was the lack of care and respect for customers. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially to international tourists.

The shuttle to the Disney area was always there when we wanted to go. After a day exploring Disneyland or DisneySea, it was great to soak in the big public bath. Very happy with the stay, and it felt worth it for a Disney trip.

The sento was a real asset, and the room was nice and spacious enough. The food was OK, and apart from the issue at first, the staff were nice and attentive. Our booking was through booking.com, and our children were included in the room suggestion. At the desk we were told they could stay for free. Later, when we asked for child pillows or even extra pillows, reception said no because the children were staying for free. It came across as if they were doing us a special favour outside the rules, and we were told to use towels as pillows instead. The service at the start felt confusing and aggressive.
