The owners are friendly, and the facilities are stylish. This is a great base if you’re planning a pilgrimage to places from the manga and anime "The Girl I Fell in Love With in Okinawa Speaks Too Much Dialect, It's Too Painful." You can walk to Gushikawa Beach, Okitsura Bench, Kin Bay Bus Stop, Gushikawa Community Center, San-A Taba Store, Union Agena Store, Gushikawa Soba, Izakaya Waraku, Shokudo Koto, and the Gushikawa Magiri Bansho Ruins. Highly recommended for a trip.

I picked this hotel for Golden Week because it was inexpensive and had good reviews near Uruma City, even though rates are high across peak season. I’ve stayed in private hostel-style rooms plenty of times, so I had no complaints and slept well. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Kurihara, were as friendly as the reviews said and told me about lots of hidden gems in Okinawa. You can eat dinner elsewhere, but if you get the chance, shop for groceries and have dinner with them. They have plenty of stories to tell. I’ll definitely stay again when I visit Tsuken Island or go diving!

The inn is only a seven-minute walk from Gushikawa Beach, where you can look out over the Pacific Ocean. The owner and his wife were so welcoming that I could forget the city's hustle and bustle. The plants all around the place have an Okinawan feel and helped soothe my wounded heart. Their warm hospitality made me forget the city noise, and the plants were a comfort.
