There are supermarkets, convenience stores and fast food spots close by, plus a microwave downstairs on the first floor. Parking is free, though it's across the road and crossing over is a bit of a hassle. Breakfast is a tasty set meal. Switching from the Western to the Japanese option costs another 300 yen, but you can ask for miso soup with the Western breakfast too. Staff at the front desk are friendly, and toothbrushes, razors and combs are available there. The rooms are all Western-style, with a private bathroom and toilet and a bidet. My semi-double felt so small next to rooms at other hotels that I thought it was a single. There aren't many outlets, so keep that in mind if you've got several devices to charge. A very good business hotel.

The price was reasonable, and parking is available. I ended up being unable to try the breakfast, although it sounded good, because my schedule didn't work out. For meals, there's a convenience store right across from the hotel and a nearby restaurant designated by the hotel, which made things easy. Benvenato was recommended to me by the nearby Center Hotel, and I found it quite clean. I highly recommend it.

I slept well in this affordable, historic hotel with a homey feel. Breakfast has Japanese and Western options, and the Western one comes with miso soup.

The room itself was neither especially good nor bad. I was on a motorcycle tour and appreciated the dedicated parking area, which keeps the bikes out of the rain. There weren't any non-smoking rooms left, so I had to take a smoking room. The cigarette smell was strong, and spraying the provided Lysol repeatedly didn't do much. I should've stayed in a non-smoking room after all.
