Hotel Route Inn Wajima

We had a great time here, just a short walk, about 3 minutes, from the Wajima morning market. The hotel is at 1-2 Marine Town, Wajima, Ishikawa, Japan, with free parking for 137 cars. It has 222 guest rooms, and the rooms are clean and spacious with good Wi-Fi. I was very happy to get a cup of coffee as a welcome drink, and our window looked out to the sea. The public bath is a natural hot spring. We enjoyed the open-air bath in both the morning and evening, just like at a ryokan. Breakfast is a buffet at the restaurant. We had a delicious meal with people from overseas who were looking forward to touring by 🚲️. I wonder if they have rental bicycles, and I'd like to use them next time I visit Noto. The women's bath required a key 💳️, which meant they could bathe late without worrying about the time. It's 30 minutes by bus from Anamizu Station on the Noto Railway, JR Nanao Line. Check-in is 3:00 p.m. (15:00), and check-out is 10:00. The weather wasn't great, so we decided against a walk along the seaside.

The friendly staff were helpful, and breakfast was a very good buffet. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and there was still plenty left. The onsen was nice, and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. I'm not sure if it's new or renovated, but it has a clean, new feel. It deserves more than a 3.9!

The room was unusually small for a resort town, even by Japanese standards. Still, it's a nice hotel with good amenities and an onsen, and the location is convenient near the marina, a small art museum, and the day market.

It's a pretty standard Japanese business hotel, but it has a proper outdoor onsen. The staff spoke surprisingly good English for somewhere fairly remote for foreign visitors. They gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and took us to the best sushi place I've ever had. Breakfast was excellent by Japanese standards too, especially for the price.
