Pension Kamome

I was in Wajima for volunteer work and stayed here during the trip. I'm glad I chose it because the owner was so kind. My room and the shared toilet were clean. The bathroom felt a little old, but that didn't bother me at all. It seems they no longer serve meals. I'd like to stay again if I come back to Wajima.

We ate so much that we were nearly bursting, but everything was delicious. The inn mainly serves fish, and on the last day of our three-night stay we thought we'd probably want some meat too, so they added yakiniku alongside the already generous fish dishes. The landlady was fun and service-minded, and made the trip a great one. It's only a 6-7 minute walk from the morning market. I'd definitely like to come back.

My first guesthouse stay went smoothly, with few inconveniences apart from sharing the bathroom and toilet. I was grateful for the chance to meet people from Wajima, and the location made it easy to walk to the morning market. The landlady's warmth and service were the best part, and her homemade breakfast was delicious. I'd recommend booking with breakfast. She said she's getting on in years, but this is a great place to stay in Wajima, so I hope she keeps it going a little longer!

Dinner was packed with seafood and produce from the mountains, including mushrooms the wife had gathered herself. It was exquisitely flavorful, and I left satisfied in both mood and stomach. This was my first reservation here, and they were very accommodating even though I arrived almost two hours early.
