The meals were a real highlight, and our stay was so amazing I’m almost at a loss for words. If you’re coming to Wazuko for a tea farm tour, this is the place to stay.

The hosts were warm and helpful, and the meals were delicious, though the portions could feel like too much, especially at dinner. There are only a few rooms, and the ryokan feels charming and well kept, tucked away from the city bustle. Each room has a little private Japanese garden. I just wish the panels around the garden didn’t block the view. I understand privacy matters a lot in Japan, but as Westerners we often value a nice view from the window more. I’d recommend staying here and exploring the surrounding tea fields.

The room was clean and well prepared, with good WiFi, and it was comfortable and quiet. The front desk was very welcoming and even printed a tag for our door and the shoe area. Highly recommended.

The traditional Japanese food was really good, and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were nice too.

There are only four rooms, in a lovely setting among the tea farms. We were warmly welcomed, and the food, with its tea theme, was delicious.
