Hotel Stay Inn Nanokamachi

The New Wing room was large by Japanese business hotel standards. Having parking in the same building, accessible by the same elevator, was very convenient and unusual for Japan, and the charges were reasonable. The service was helpful despite limited English.

The morning service is really nice.

For several nights on a work trip, I stayed in a room that felt almost like a studio apartment. It was quite large for a business hotel, with a sink, washing machine, and induction cooktop. The eco cleaning setup means the room isn’t cleaned daily; leave trash or things to be replaced outside, and they’ll take care of them. Fresh towels are hung on the doorknob each day. My corner room had poor Wi-Fi, though, and I could hear other guests on their phone, so the walls seem thin.

I’m writing this again because nothing changes, no matter how many months or years I complain. Do the manager and chefs have any pride in this? The side dishes are the same premade ones every day, and chicken is the only main course. What about guests who can’t eat chicken? There are other options besides chicken. This is no special breakfast; it’s the worst. They should learn from other hotels!
