The rooms are spacious, beautiful and very comfortable, and the hosts are incredibly gracious. We loved every moment there, especially the incredible views of Mount Fuji. When we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with delicious fruit and sushi as refreshments.

The property is quiet and peaceful, a lovely place to recharge for a few nights. The view of Mount Fuji over Lake Yamanaka was breathtaking. Staff were warm and helpful, especially Ms. Mitsuyo, who helped with everything we needed and shared useful information about the area. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent.

The staff were so hospitable, and they even brought free fruit to our room. We had some left over, so they packed it with ice for us when we checked out. The balcony has a nice view of Mount Fuji. I’d definitely recommend staying here near Yamanalako lake.

The bath was a highlight, with a lovely view of Mt. Fuji from both the tub and our room. Everything was very clean, and the place had a real Ryokan feel. Our host was the friendliest we’ve had in Japan, and breakfast was great. Even the dinner snack was really high quality. We loved staying here :) Thanks again!

We had a great 3D2N stay at Rokumeikan Hills. It’s a cozy spot for taking things slowly, biking, and enjoying the lake. Thanks for the kind hospitality. I’d fully recommend it.
