We arrived late, and the owners welcomed my wife, sister-in-law, and me with warm coffee and baguettes for a snack. We chatted using a translation app, and their kindness and the pension's warm atmosphere made us feel welcome. The next morning, fresh snow lightly covered the area, making it lovely for a walk. The owners even helped clear the snow off our car before we left. Our room was more spacious and comfortable than a Tokyo hotel room, with a bathtub and an in-room heater that made it easy to set the temperature. It was quiet and easy to sleep in. We left early, so we couldn't try breakfast. Finding the place after dark was tricky on our first visit. There were no English signs, the surroundings were dark, and Google Navigation first sent us down the wrong road, so we got a little lost.

The room Wi-Fi didn't work, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, I had a pleasant, quiet stay, and the location was excellent. The owner was very kind, and breakfast was generous. Thanks for taking care of me during my two nights there.

The meals were plentiful, creative, and enjoyable, and the owner was kind and helpful. The guest rooms have no Wi-Fi, which really should be improved. I could only use the bathroom in my room, and the shower was uncomfortable: the head had too few nozzles, and the water pressure was painfully strong.

The food was delicious and very filling. The location was easy to find, and the building and interior both have a stylish look. When we left in the morning, the owner, his wife, and everyone else came out to see us off, which made us feel at ease.
