The shared sink and bath area also has room to shower, while the toilet is separate and has a washlet. I could use the washing machine for free, and it even dried the laundry. There were lots of complimentary items, and the front desk had nice pillows to borrow, though only a limited number were available. You could also buy shampoos and treatments there and pick what you liked. I stayed after a weekend concert, and the service felt good for the price.

The weekday price was a fantastic 5,000 yen a night, and I liked that the bathroom and toilet were separate. The front desk staff were very polite, and a plan with checkout at 2pm meant I could take it easy. They also had a good range of shampoos to rent. Since the hotel sits in the middle of a busy downtown area, I did feel a little uneasy checking in alone as a woman close to midnight. Still, I’d like to stay here again.

I come back here often when I’m in Yokohama. The busy downtown setting can get noisy, but it’s handy having so many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I like that the bathroom and toilet are separate, and both the sink and bathtub are roomy. There’s a good selection of shampoo and conditioner by the front desk to take up to your room. They’ll wash and dry your laundry if you leave it at the desk. The facilities are a bit dated, though clean, and weekend rates can be pretty high.

There’s plenty of food and drink around because it’s in a busy area, though watch out for the touts. The place is old, but it wasn’t too bad. You use old-style flat keys rather than auto-locks, so you don’t have to worry about getting locked out. I liked being able to pick shampoo and conditioner at the front desk, and there was a decent range. There are two elevators and they came promptly enough. Drinks in the vending machines were reasonably priced, around 200 yen. I should have taken a photo of the shampoo selection.
