The room was brand new and spotless, with lovely interior design that made it easy to relax. Getting around central Okinawa from here was convenient, and Zakimi Castle Ruins and Yachimun no Sato are close by. Yomitan also has plenty of bakeries and restaurants, so I’d recommend exploring the area. There’s apparently a large veranda for BBQs too, and I’d like to try it next time. Staff were attentive and helpful from the time I made the booking.
The room looked clean and stylish, and even the washing machine’s lint filter had been cleaned with care. But all the cushions smelled strongly of scalp oil, and the odor got onto the pillow too. I used a bath towel around it, though I could still smell it. There’s no elevator in the three-story building, so you’ll have to carry luggage up the stairs. That could be a concern if you have a lot of bags or mobility difficulties. Overall, the cleanliness was good, but replacing or deodorizing the cushions would make the stay more comfortable.
