Yonago New Urban Hotel

Being able to head out with the key made it easy to explore nearby Yonago Castle and other sights, and the location worked well. The hotel feels old, but it was very clean and had plenty of amenities, so I was comfortable. There was an open maintenance panel in the ceiling of the shared area with a warning to mind your head. I'd stay here again.

We came on a family motorcycle trip and appreciated the covered parking area set aside for motorcycles. The rooms were clean, and breakfast came in either Japanese or Western style, which was a good way to fuel up for the day. It's around a ten-minute walk from the station, a little distance but manageable. We'd stay again.

The room had plenty of space and two chairs, plus an air purifier. There was also a microwave on the floor, with cleaning paper on top, which came in handy. The front desk staff were really nice. Parking is listed as paid, but it was free when I stayed; there aren't many spots, so arrive early. One odd thing was a toothbrush left on the toilet tank. The power stayed on, which was nice.

The receptionist was so helpful and kind, and shared tips about sightseeing spots and souvenirs. Thanks! I picked up some Inaba no Shirousagi manju 🤤, though sadly the curry buns had already sold out 🥲.
