The staff were welcoming and kind. We had a bit of a language barrier, but Google Translate sorted things out quickly. I spent two nights here and enjoyed the traditional ryokan experience. There are two public baths and one private bath you can reserve, all stocked with soap and shampoo, plus face and hair lotion for after bathing. My room was spacious, with a massage chair I could use freely, though its controls were only in Japanese. I also got a spare room at no extra charge, with a Tempur mattress and electric heater. The blankets were thick and fluffy. Breakfast and dinner were traditional Japanese meals, which was an interesting experience. Dinner wasn't included in my booking, so I paid an extra 8,000 yen for it. It was interesting, though you might find better value in the city. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The hot springs were wonderfully clean and relaxing, just right for unwinding. After the snow fell, the views turned into a peaceful winter scene. The rooms had a stylish design and were comfortable too. I also loved the meals, which looked beautiful and tasted just as good. A lovely place for a quiet escape.

The scenery around the hotel in Yonezawa was so peaceful, and the hot springs helped me relax completely after the trip. The staff were polite, kind, and welcoming from the moment I arrived.
