Yuasajyo

The bath could use a bit more of a castle theme inside. There was one large bathing area and a small sauna. Getting there was a little complicated, so here's how it worked for me. Take your shoes off at the entrance, then buy a bath ticket. Towels are available to buy there too. For the safe by the ticket machine, choose a box number and enter a four digit PIN. It unlocks, so close it after putting your valuables in. To get them back, repeat the same steps. Then hand your tickets to the staff. They'll give you a towel too if you bought one. After that, enjoy your bath.

We were stranded at the train station with our luggage because there are no taxis in town on Sundays. We had to ask the hotel staff to pick us up. If we'd known, we would've planned our days differently.

A peaceful, lovely place to stay. The staff were very helpful and lent us bikes to explore Yuasa town. Breakfast was delicious.

It's great, but make sure you know what an Onsen is first, since the room doesn't have a shower.
