We really liked the room and private onsen, and the service was good too. There's a shop and a restaurant nearby. Ask the staff for suggestions if you're looking for good places to eat. We'd love to stay here again 🥰

The private open bath was amazing, and from the tatami room we had a beautiful view of Mt. Yufu. The staff took such good care of us, explained everything, and recommended attractions and restaurants both near and farther away. The head lady spoke great English, and they even made a restaurant reservation for us because my Japanese wasn't very good. This was the best accommodation I've ever stayed at and a real highlight of the trip. I'd highly recommend it if you're in the area, and I'll definitely come back soon.

I loved sleeping on futons, and the private onsen is definitely worth having. It's a cute, cozy ryokan near Yufuin main street, about a 5-10 minute walk away. The place has quite a bit of life around it, with a Lawson and supermarket close by.

We came across this place by chance, and the hospitality was so warm and welcoming. The rooms and shared areas are well cared for, and the room was huge and lovely, with a great bedroom view. You can use an onsen in your room or the public one, without feeling rushed. It's easy to get to the station and Main Street in Yufuin, and there's a supermarket and Japanese family-style restaurant nearby. There are trees and plants all around, so insects may be an issue if you dislike them. A tiny frog joined me while I was in the room's onsen. They thoughtfully provide an insect net and spray, and it didn't spoil our stay.
