La Classe de Cienega

We came for a special occasion, and the stay was comfortable from start to finish. The facilities were clean, and the interior had lovely details. I especially liked the restaurant’s curtains and the view from the window. The staff were very kind and attentive. The outdoor pool was fantastic too. The contrast between the blue sky and blue water was beautiful, and we were able to relax and enjoy a real resort feeling. The restaurant was open and airy, with a calm atmosphere and a great view. The meal was what impressed me most. I’d love to visit again. Thanks for a wonderful time!

The balcony view was amazing, and although the hot spring was small, it was adequate. The room and food were good too. I was traveling alone and felt uncomfortable being seated among families and couples. If they offer a solo plan, I wish they’d also think about dining arrangements for people on their own. The sauna schedule strongly favors women. Men can use it only from check-in until before dinner. If they rotate access, I wish they’d rotate the hours too. The hotel is far from the station, so you’ll need a taxi. Be aware that it can be crowded and hard to catch one for the return trip.

I was satisfied overall and would stay again. The place is older and a bit dated, but still nice and quiet, right in front of the ocean, with a panoramic view from the balcony. The food was delicious, and the room had a large TV and hand towels. A few things could be better: there were no outlets or USB ports by the bed, and the large bath has only three shower areas, so a group can take all of them. The bath mirror was covered in limescale. I’d also like them to offer a shuttle, even if it costs extra. The room was hot in November, even in short sleeves, and I’m not especially sensitive to heat. There were no taxis when I reached Manazuru Station, so I waited 25 minutes. I’d suggest arriving a little earlier if you’re taking one. The weather was nice on the way back, so I walked leisurely to the station, which took about 20 minutes.

My favorite part was the view from the room, even though the photo is taken from farther away on the third floor. The ocean scenery could rival hotels in Okinawa and Hawaii, and we were there at just the right time to see the Atami fireworks. We stayed in both a maisonette and a twin room. They were spacious and clean, and we didn’t hear noise from neighboring rooms. The building and facilities are a little dated, but the location is great. There’s a busy national highway nearby, though I personally wasn’t bothered by the noise. Waking up to waves and birds was just ideal. The pool, over 10 with no play equipment allowed, is free to use. The public bath was great. In my room, the shower pressure and temperature, jet bath, shampoo, and hair dryer were all the best! ⭐︎ My hair usually gets rough at the beach, but it’s silky smooth now. (^o^) The child-friendly staff were really helpful, and the food lived up to the reviews, with dishes full of delicious ingredients. I’m taking off one point for a few issues. One room was missing an amenity on the first night, and I couldn’t get through when I called the front desk. The bathroom door was broken and dangerous, and I wish they’d warned me beforehand. One room also had a problem with the lock, but the staff came to help. When you report a problem, they do find a solution and take action, which I appreciated. I’d definitely stay here again.
