The onsen was great, and the staff spoke English and were keen to help. We stayed in the suite, which was very spacious. The location is a little out of the way, about a 10-minute walk to the station.

The outdoor Onsen was nice, and breakfast had lots of healthy options. The staff were amazing. Two young women from Nagoya at the front desk spoke really good English and were very helpful. They also arranged a shuttle to the train station for me, even though it’s only about a seven-minute walk away. The one thing that could be better is the WiFi: the signal is always strong, but sometimes no data comes through, perhaps because too many people are connected at once.

The room and breakfast were good, and it’s near Echigo Yuzawa Station. They drove us to Echigo Yuzawa Ski and Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort and picked us up too, all for free.

The staff are friendly and helpful. For skiing, the hotel has equipment rentals and a free shuttle to nearby resorts. There’s also a laundry machine and free drinks. Dinner was delicious.

The hotel has a nice atmosphere, with Japanese-style onsen decor. Dinner was gorgeous, and breakfast is served as a buffet. The staff are generally warm and enthusiastic, and willing to help with your touring needs.
