Naeba Musashi

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the place is easy to reach by bus from different areas. It sits right by the highway and is about a 9-minute walk from Naeba Ski Resort, though there are no train stations nearby. For us, this was a very economical stay and well worth it. I think it’s one of the cheapest hotels around. The cozy, spacious rooms have heaters and enough room for four people. We were there in winter and enjoyed the hot steam bath. The rooms, bathrooms, and hallways were all very nice and clean. There’s a guest room beside reception, plus basics like free Wi-Fi, towels, brushes and toothpaste. A shared kitchen has tea, coffee, and water.

The bus stop is right in front, and restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, so the location is okay. I can’t complain otherwise, though carrying 20kg of luggage up the stairs wasn’t pleasant. An elevator would be nice.

The rooms were clean, the onsen was nice, and there was even a free massage chair. Staff were very kind and the service was great for the price. The lifts are a 10-minute walk away. We had a very good stay.

The rooms are Japanese style, and there’s a vending machine for drinks. It’s a good place to stay, with a nice onsen, so make sure to enjoy it.
