I stayed in the annex, and it was great value for a solo traveler. The facilities are shared, but clean. They picked me up at the port and stopped by a store on the way. There's a fridge, plus free cooler boxes and ice packs to borrow for the beach. I rented a bike one day and a scooter another, both really useful for getting around. I saw turtles at Ama Beach swimming area every day. I'd definitely stay here again.

The rooms feel old and smell bad, so I didn't think this was good value. The staff, though, are lovely.

The location, thorough cleaning, and hospitality were impeccable for the price. I stayed with my husband, my 6-year-old daughter, and my 2-year-old son. We knew beforehand that the room was only 6 tatami mats, so its limited space wasn't a problem, especially since we were out most of the time. A shared living room or dining area outside the room might have made it easier to relax a bit more. The dining room was only open at breakfast, but that was still within acceptable limits. It's certainly not a new facility, but it felt clean because everything was tidied and cleaned so carefully. There were lots of signs with requests, but none felt intrusive, and I wanted to cooperate. Having a water tap outside was handy for rinsing off sand. We wanted to rent some activity gear, but the host thoughtfully suggested we go to the beach over there instead of renting from the guesthouse. They were looking out for what we might enjoy most. Transportation was included, and we had a pleasant two-night stay. A solid five stars.
