Fairmont Mara Safari Club

The rooms were beautiful and cozy, and the people looking after them were so sweet, helpful, and accommodating. Every worker went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, even things we hadn't thought of, and everyone was friendly and kind. The food had so many delicious options that we were stuffed after every meal, but still went back for seconds. The game rides were amazing, we saw all the big 5 animals, and our guide Henry was the absolute BEST!!! The Fairmont Mara safari club was the most amazing place I've ever been. I can't recommend it enough and hope I can go back!

The property and its people are great. The location is amazing, and the hospitality and support from staff were excellent. But the booking experience was very bad. We booked 4 rooms through fora travel advisors well in advance, in April. Then, 20 days before the travel dats, we were told that fora bookings couldn't be paid for with points. That was a surprise, and we had to change the bookings to get a reasonable price. We also lost the 100 usd credit that fora had ensured. During our visit last week, we met someone with a similar FORA booking who said they were allowed to pay with points. That left us feeling distrustful and discriminated against. You expect a brand to apply policies consistently and without discrimination. The experience left us wary, and we'll be more careful next time. I'd also tell fellow travellers not to blindly trust what they're told. The company can change a policy at any time, leaving customers in chaps and giving preferential treatment unfairly.

The staff are welcoming, helpful, and hospitable, and they kept us excited throughout the stay with activities, bonfire nights, and breakfast in the savannah. The service was the best I've ever had. They offer free safaris 3 times a day, so you get to see all the animals. Definitely going again.

Dominic made our five-day stay unforgettable. He knew so much and planned each day around us, which led to some incredible wildlife encounters. The tents felt luxurious, the food options were plentiful, and the setting was just right. The staff were some of the warmest and friendliest we've met. We'd highly recommend Dominic to anyone visiting Fairmont Mara.
