Bamba Adventures and Events Ltd made the trip easy. For a luxury experience in the Masai Mara North Conservancy, this is the place. Every room faces the Mara River, where you can watch hippos, crocodiles, and other animals come for water. If you're lucky, you might even see a crocodile take a meal from one of the thirsty animals.

The lodge sits right beside the river, where you can see and hear hippos and spot giraffes, zebras, and Impalas from the property. It's a stunning, exciting setting. Tony and his staff were so hospitable and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, and the accommodation and service were outstanding. Thank you, Tony and everyone, for making our stay memorable. Don't hesitate to book the Royal Mara, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

We only wished we could have stayed longer. At Royal Mara Safari Lodge, the private, spacious renovated tents sit along the peaceful Maasai River and are very comfortable. Each day brought four-course meals, excellent wine options, and service that felt like fine dining. The wild, breathtaking setting was balanced by the reassuring presence of Maasai Warriors. The hospitality was world-class, and there was nothing we felt was missing.

The food was very good, though having the same soup every day got repetitive. The chef was happy to accommodate us if we didn't like something on the menu. My favorite was the Swahili-style pork curry on our last day. They also provided a safe for valuables and a five-liter can of drinking water. Solar heaters outside each room supplied hot water. We had a small hot-water issue, but they moved us to another room right away. The place was clean and tidied daily while we were out on safari. We didn't see mosquitoes, though we were careful not to open the canvas too much. Before booking Royal Mara Safari Lodge in Mara North Conservancy, I'd seen photos that made the rooms look old-fashioned compared with fancier resorts, so I wasn't sure what to expect. On arrival, we were welcomed with delicious apple juice by a friendly, relaxed staff. The room looked nothing like those photos, it had been updated to a modern, stylish finish, with a wonderful view of the Mara River and crocodiles and hippos outside. Our room was bright, airy, and private, with a huge balcony and a jacuzzi. There was loads of storage for our suitcases, clothes, and toiletries, so we didn't have to live out of our bags. Having two wash basins was great for us as a couple. An assigned staff member showed us around and helped us reach the common areas. He also offered to take us to see the hippos and crocodiles and gave us a full property tour. We had a fantastic experience and would recommend the lodge to anyone going to Mara North. The service and views made it special, and we'd love to return.

The view from Royal Mara is incredible, looking over the Mara River with its hippos and crocodiles. We even saw crocodiles feast on a hippo. The cool Kenyan breeze and the sweet smell of nature make it easy to fall in love with the place. The rooms are amazing, and the service is extremely good. Tony, Simon, Anna, and Paul were the standouts. Everyone was helpful and understanding, especially Anna and Paul, who were willing to accommodate our requests. We also went on a night safari with Simon, who knew where to find lions, leopards, and elephants. What a place, and what service!
