The mahogany on the doors and stairway caught my eye, and the interior feels nicely finished. It’s a peaceful place, with comfortable rooms that are affordable. The meals are good and the staff are friendly. Once you’re inside, you might forget you’re in Busia County. A distinctive hotel in Busia Town.

I lost my appetite after seeing a member of the serving staff open a bread wrapper with her teeth. That kind of thing belongs in a roadside eatery, not a hotel. Staff ethics and PR need improvement.

The chefs are great, and the staff are friendly. It’s a modest budget hotel and one of the better places to stay in Busia town. At night, though, be ready for the many mosquitoes you find around the rest of Busia too.

There’s a large, secure parking area, and open-air tents are available for people who like being outside. The conference room is big and elegant, and the reception feels warm and well established. Meals, snacks, and drinks are delicious. They have rooms from affordable to VIP, so you can choose what suits you. It’s opposite Busia Stadium.
