Grateful for the team that brought so much heart to this intimate wedding on Chale Island. Love by the ocean felt almost sacred, with the tides beside the vows and the palms moving gently overhead. Barefoot steps across the white sand, kisses in the golden hour, salt in the air. The island seemed to hold the celebration close. Love, ocean, intention.

The breakfast experience was a real letdown. I waited 20 minutes, asked for a menu, and got neither the menu nor any food, while the restaurant manager was there and didn’t step in. It was a shame, because the rest of the stay had been lovely: the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the seafood-heavy meals were tasty and plentiful. The hotel itself is clean and well cared for, and the nature around it makes it a relaxing place. You do need to ask for small towels.

After wrapping up a safari, this was a fantastic coast stay. We really enjoyed the good food and especially how friendly the staff were. The hotel’s activities were great too, and when we visited in November they were all free, diving included. We’d gladly recommend staying here.

The mangroves by kayak and a walk through the tide pools were both amazing. There are great experiences, some paid and some complimentary, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely accommodation too. What a place!

A lovely spot to unwind after a few days on safari. The food was very good and the service attentive, though the cocktails could be more consistent. If you can, upgrade to a private bungalow. And take in that scenery.
