The pool shuts at around 6:00pm, which is far too early. I also had a guard try to walk into my room without knocking just as my wife was coming out of the shower. Later he banged on the door like the police, even though I’d answered the first time. This was over a minor issue about having visitors, as if that were somehow forbidden. The staff are authoritarian and don’t treat customers with respect.

A calm, clean place to stay, and guests can use the pool for free. The beds are standard size, with a TV and wardrobes for clothes. Staff service was efficient, and breakfast was standard. For a prime location, the price is reasonable. Seems suited to families or couples.

I liked how close Gift Guest House is to Diani Beach, just a short walk away, and the price was very reasonable compared with other hotels nearby. The room was clean and well kept. I had a spacious standard double with a comfortable bed and a private bathroom with a shower and hot water. There are different room sizes, plus a pool, bed and breakfast, and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast came with my room and was delicious and plentiful, with several options. The staff were friendly and helpful, and seemed ready to do extra to make guests comfortable. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. Gift Guest House is a comfortable, affordable option in Diani, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for that.

It’s an affordable guest house in Diani, with courteous, friendly staff who are helpful too. Breakfast is modest and served from 6:30am to 10am. The pool is well maintained, and there’s free Wi-Fi.

I regret staying here and even setting foot in the place. It was cheap, but it wasn’t clean and there was no customer service. The workers were good and friendly, but the management bullied and kept threatening them. They looked like they were in prison. Shame on you, Gift Guest House.
