Skippers Coliving

We spent a week here, and it was easy to get work done. The air conditioning in the rooms, gym and coworking space made a big difference, and I’ve heard other places in the area don’t have it. The Wi-Fi was strong enough for calls, the gym was well equipped, and I loved being able to use the bikes for free, including for the short ride to the beach. There’s a free coffee machine with unlimited barista coffee, plus a different cooked breakfast each day, always really tasty. The rooms are so cute, and the showers have wonderfully strong pressure, so I could finally rinse all the shampoo out! It’s a sociable place too. We made great friends, and the group chat often had plans for yoga or nights out. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the owner, Duncan, helps the local school. We liked the pizza restaurant on site and also tried the small local restaurant just outside the gate to the right. Their beans with rice and spinach were great. We couldn’t believe how much we got for what we paid. Highly recommend.

We stayed for just over a week and had the best time. It’s right in the centre of Diani, with comfortable rooms, air conditioning, hot showers and good beds. The facilities are great for longer stays, with a full gym, an office and fast Wi-Fi. There are two restaurants on site, both well priced: one has what I thought was the best pizza in Kenya, and the other serves poke. And the coffee machine in the shared kitchen is incredible. A great spot for digital nomads, backpackers and anyone staying longer.

Really nice stay, with nature close by and a lively street full of local people right next to the property. It’s also very close to the airport. The rooms have air conditioning, and breakfast is included in the price and prepared for you each day. Thanks so much!

I spent six weeks at Skippers and really enjoyed it. Duncan has a good feel for what nomads need: there’s a productive place to work, exercise facilities on site, and meal options that are convenient and affordable. The hosts are proactive and always helpful, and the staff are friendly. Add the good facilities and reasonable rates, and it’s a great choice for nomads and travellers. I’ve stayed in plenty of co-livings, and Skippers is among the best. I’d highly recommend it to other nomads and look forward to coming back.
