Dora Villa

Silvio and Eunece were so helpful, kind, and attentive, and made the trip memorable. The grounds and villa are beautiful, comfortable, and secure, with a guard at the gate 24 hours a day. Since the second villa wasn’t booked, we got to enjoy the whole property and pool ourselves. You can add a chef, though we chose not to. We were still treated to fruit platters, including fruit grown on the grounds. Cleaning and laundry are available on request. They can arrange cars to and from the airport or train station, or for day trips. Ask them to introduce you to William. He drove us around in his tuk-tuk all week and even put together a guided tour to the African Pool, which is a must! There are lots of great restaurants close by, and the most amazing beach is within walking distance. I highly recommend this rental and look forward to returning.

We spent two amazing weeks at this fabulous villa. Silvio, the owner, is based in the UK and was a huge help as we arranged the stay. The staff at the villa were fantastic too, sorting out a safari trip, restaurant bookings at the many lovely places nearby, cabs, and more. It’s a great base for everything the area offers. I really recommend it and would love to come back.

Eunice, the manager, was lovely and always ready to help. We were nine people and two infants staying at Villa Holly, and enjoyed our mini-vacation. The pool tends to get dirty very quickly. It’s a bit of a walk from the road and the beach, but if you enjoy walking, that can be fun. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere secluded.

If you want to sit under the trees, relax with a book, or meditate, this is the place. The pool is heavenly, the rooms are spacious and very clean, with an African feel, and the food was delicious. Chef Mike did it justice.
