Ocean Village Club

What we’ll remember most about Ocean Village Club is how cared for we felt. The whole team, from the front of house to the back, was smiling, respectful, attentive, and ready to help. They made the place feel welcoming and almost like family, with a level of care that’s rare. We’re leaving with lovely memories and will definitely return to Diani. A special thank you to Christina, our housekeeper. She was thoughtful, kind, and professional, and kept our room spotless every day. We’re also grateful to Abdulsamad, the hotel manager. His leadership showed in how smoothly everything ran and in the positive atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was genuine. We had an amazing, memorable stay, and I highly recommend Ocean Village Club if you’re thinking of staying in Diani. Thanks to everyone on the team for making it special.

The monkeys jumping through the trees and playing in the common area added to the tropical feel and made our stay more fun. The food was fresh and delicious too, especially the passion fruit juice at breakfast. A big thank you to Mr. Abdulsamad, the team leader, who took time to greet each guest, ask for feedback, and help with anything. His warm, genuine care made the stay feel special. The property was peaceful, beautiful, and well maintained, with a warm, charming atmosphere. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the attention to detail showed throughout. Our spacious room had large, comfortable beds, and the staff were kind and welcoming. We had an unforgettable time at this lovely place and would gladly return. Highly recommend it for a visit to Diani Beach.

The private stretch of beach was peaceful, good for watching the sea or lying in the sun. The wider beach beyond it was pleasant too, mostly for walks or a swim, and there were few people around, so it felt secluded. Room service and breakfast were both very good. I didn’t try dinner, though I imagine it was good as well. The resort itself is lovely, with lush plants, grass, and huge palms making an oasis among the buildings. Its design has a tasteful adventurous feel, a bit like Santorini or perhaps a Middle Eastern town. The rooms are clean, beautiful, and spacious, with an elevated safari style. The staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful. I enjoyed my four nights and would love to come back for longer.

The rooms were clean, and the beach area is incredible. We’re very happy with our stay and will definitely come back. I travel a lot, but I’ve never left a hotel after just a couple of days feeling like I was leaving home and friends. I mean that. The team’s personal approach is what makes this place special. They genuinely do everything for guests, and it feels like anything can be sorted. Thanks to Abudlsamad for doing such a great job. Without his management skills, this team wouldn’t work so well. Hamisi checked on us, and we had an amazing doubles tennis game. The waiters, especially Said Matata and Islam, were always kind, attentive, and great at their jobs. And big praise to the chefs for making barbecue and salads each evening while chatting with us. Shout-out to Latufa too.
